l've visited America's Choice a few times, and each time is a new adventure. Cynthia is the owner, and she'll make you fall in love with the store and its selection from the beginning. I've had gator tails, salmon, and, of course, a massive, marbled tomahawk steak. There are also a variety of different chocolates, seasonings, salts, and so many other things. This is a whole journey here in town.

John is super passionate about what he does and this is the best specialty meat shop I’ve ever been too. Their selection is unrivaled and attention to quality shows. Pics for reference. Can’t recommend them enough for Wagyu. The below pictures are Australian Wagyu Tri tip and Picanha and Iberico bone in pork chops.

John is a great “tour guide”. He offers wonderful delicious foods in so many huge freezers with so many options to choose from. Each item is freeze dried. We purchased some beef, pork and salmon. Tonight I baked the smaller piece (we purchased 2 pieces of salmon). I sprayed a small baking tray with olive oil. I seasoned the fish with some lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill and some of the smoked (salt & pepper) rub that we also purchased. Baked 10 minutes @ 350 degrees, turned it over and seasoned the other side. Put it back in for another 8 minutes. I started eating the salmon along with a bowl of Tri-veggie pastas seasoned with the same seasonings I used on the fish. I did not expect the delicious full flavor that I experienced. I couldn’t finish it all, so I’m looking forward to finishing it tomorrow. I really like that there was no skin on either side of the salmon. We will be back.

What a great find for us! John is great and has all the meats you could want! He runs a special once a year: buy one bundle get two free! Hold cow, did we get a lot of meat, seafood and pork for only $689! We chose the Platinum Angus Pack and got the pork and seafood packs for FREE!

This place is awesome! Before I went to ACG for the first time, I assumed this was the business that supplied the guy's driving around town with freezers in their vehicles. THEY ARE NOT. I have bought from the 'traveling salesman' guys and the "food" was horrible. Go to ACG. See what they have (a lot more than just beef). Ask why it is all in freezers (you might be surprised AND learn something). Describe what you want to John or Cynthia and let them guide you through what they have to offer. This stuff is not what you find in other local stores. If there are other people in the shop, listen to the one's that have come back time and time again like I have. I dont buy beef at the grocery store or big box stores anymore. I buy whole cuts at America's Choice Gourmet and I control the portion size. I thaw it overnight in the fridge, cut it into portions, and bag it. Then I put a few in the fridge and the rest back in the freezer. The wagyu ACG sells is so satisfying, instead of 16 and 20 oz filets (like I used to eat) I am cooking 5oz to 7oz cuts and that IS the meal. ...ok I might have a few pieces of bread with it sometimes but often I just have beef... I will try to add pics...
